As the CRM Data Analytics & Insights Manager within the DTC digital marketing team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing a unified, real time, cross-channel/platform view of our customer to continuously optimize marketing efforts. Your primary responsibility will be developing and implementing data driven audience segmentation strategies to optimize paid media campaigns, enhance personalization efforts, drive continuous improvement through test-and-learn methodologies, and increase customer engagement across digital channels. In this role, you will help lead the vision and partner with internal and external teams in building scalable, automated audience capabilities that support key strategic marketing initiatives.

55% segmentation insights/analysis and reporting across applicable channels

35% journey/email/segmentation strategic support for your team

10% technical enablement

Key Requirements:

  • Audience Insights and Segmentation:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of customer data to gain insights into consumer behavior, preferences, and needs

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop dynamic audience segments based on CRM data and tailor messaging accordingly

  • Create and maintain accurate customer personas that inform marketing strategies and campaigns

  • Data Management and Analysis:

  • Collaborate with data management and analytics teams on the collection, organization, and utilization of customer data from various sources (website, paid media, CRM, etc.)

  • Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to interpret customer data, identify trends, and generate actionable recommendations for marketing campaigns

  • Regularly monitor and report on audience performance metrics, providing insights to improve marketing efforts and optimize ROI

  • Customer Journey Optimization:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to map out the customer journey and identify touchpoints where audience targeting can be optimized

  • Implement A/B testing and other testing methodologies to refine audience segmentation and messaging throughout the customer journey

  • Personalization and Content Strategy:

  • Collaborate with content creators to ensure marketing materials are tailored to the needs and preferences of specific audience segments

  • Develop personalized marketing campaigns that resonate with target audiences and drive engagement

  • Digital Advertising and Media Strategy:

  • Partner with the media team and agency partners to create and manage audience focused advertising campaigns across various digital platforms

  • Utilize data driven insights and advanced segmentation techniques to optimize paid media campaigns and inform media buying decisions

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making real-time adjustments to enhance ROAS and lower CAC

  • Test and Learn Initiatives:

  • Design and implement A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other experimentation methodologies

  • Analyze test results to extract actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement

  • Aid in driving a culture of experimentation within the CRM and marketing functions

Key Competencies:

  • Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation platforms, analytical methodologies, and paid media channels

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and their impact on customer engagement

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and marketing strategies

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in data science, marketing, mathematics, or a related field. Advanced degree a plus

  • 5+ years in audience management, data analysis, or related roles in a DTC focused organization

  • Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation platforms, analytical methodologies, and paid media channels

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and their impact on customer engagement

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and marketing strategies

  • Experience using Microsoft PowerBi to transform, manipulate, and analyze customer attribute data

  • Experience with A/B testing, segmentation, campaign optimization, and test-and-learn methodologies

  • Experience with developing and evolving customer segmentation frameworks

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex data and technical information to diverse groups of stakeholders

Compensation:

The current range for this role based out of Aliso Viejo, CA is $90,000 - $125,000/yr.

This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

A minimum of two workdays per week are to be conducted at the Aliso Viejo Office (25 Enterprise, Aliso Viejo, CA). The remaining workdays may be conducted from a remote location.
