ANTICIPATED SALARY: $24.00- $33.60

OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Director of Admissions Operations & Systems, the CRM Analyst provides functional support for the University's CRM system (Slate), for both the Office of Admissions and Advancement, with a primary focus on admissions and recruitment. This position will provide technical expertise to assist with system maintenance, query development, process automation, staff training, system optimization, and the development of new Slate features that support the University's recruitment and enrollment initiatives.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design CRM system configurations to support recruitment, admission, and communications business practices and reporting.

  • Create and run complex queries and reports including multi-variable segmentation for academic units, admissions, alumni, fundraising, and marketing requests, including class profile reports, funnel and yield reports, and ad hoc data requests.

  • Develop and manage key CRM functionalities, including forms, dashboards, events, and database configurations.

  • Develops and maintains Slate portals to support both the admissions student journey, and the user experience for internal staff and other constituents.

  • Provide training and user support to the recruitment and student success teams on new processes; create documentation and maintain usage guide.

  • Assist in maintaining data collection and data entry standards to ensure the accuracy and usefulness of collected information.

  • Support the day-to-day administration and management of the Slate CRM platform for admissions and advancement including system integrity, system issues, and problem-solving, with a priority on supporting the admissions team.

  • Assists in the creation and deployment of communications from Slate, including the use of templates, content blocks, liquid markup, conditional logic, and editing HTML/CSS code.

  • Completes special administrative research and contact campaign projects as needed.

Other

  • Provides backup support for Academic/Admissions content on CGU website

  • Provides operational support to the Admissions team, including application processing support through the use of CGU's Application and CRM (Slate) and SIS (PeopleSoft) systems to maintain and update application files through the admissions funnel.

  • Assists in the management of the prospective student visitor center.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:

  • Advanced knowledge and experience working with a complex relational database

  • Experience transforming data/datasets (i.e. data manipulation, visualization, aggregation)

  • Experience working with a CRM is preferred

  • Ability to translate data into reports

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct basic research using online platforms

  • Solid understanding of database principles and theory

  • Experience mining data from multiple sources

  • HTML, CSS, and SQL programming knowledge is preferred

  • Proficient in MS Office/systems (MS Word, Advanced Excel)

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to take direction and work independently and as part of a team

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in a technical field plus 1+ years' experience with CRM systems and or any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATES: Must possess a valid California driver's license.

HOURS: This is a full-time, 12-month, non-exempt position. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position is located on site in Claremont, California, with up to one day per week of remote work in accordance with the University's remote work policy.
