What do you get to do in this position?

  • You MUST have experience in mission critical building maintenance such as: Electrical Systems, HVAC

  • You will provide hands on operation and maintenance of site facilities equipment in accordance with procedures and policies using your knowledge, skills and certifications/ licenses.

  • You will collect data and performs rounds/readings.

  • In this role you will monitor contractors for procedural, safety, environmental, and risk mitigation process compliance with established procedures/policies/laws

  • You will conduct training (within your expertise) to other CFT's and trainees.

  • You will work closely with vendors and contractors to ensure their work meets Schneider Electric and customer standards.

This job might be for you if:

  • More than 1-year experience in mission critical environments

  • High School Diploma, GED or combination of education and experience

  • Experience with critical HVAC, generators, fire detection/suppression, UPS systems

Primary responsibilities include: * Use power and hand tools for repetitive operations * Perform work requiring nailing, sawing, cutting, painting, and basic facility maintenance * Perform clean-up duties at renovation sites Requirements: * Valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a good driving record to operate commercial motor vehicles * Adhere to all local state and federal vehicular regulations while driving Education/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent Work Environment: The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields. Physical Demands: The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing, walking, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching or similar activities, and lifting a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
