This is a part-time position that works 2 shifts per week, 7pm-7am.

What You Will Do:

Perform basic patient care activities to ICU patients in assigned area.

  • Assist with treatments ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).

  • Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.

  • Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.

  • Assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.

  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Assist with processing patient admissions, transfers and discharges. Assemble and maintain patient charts.

What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Certified BLS Provider obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

  • Certified Nurse Aide preferred.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Day schedule, M-F, 8 a.m - 5 p.m Apply the appropriate diagnostic and procedural code to patient health records for purposes of document retrieval, analysis and claim processing. * Abstract pertinent information from patient records.
