Job Responsibilities:
Critical Care registered nurses along with Medical Providers in Children#s Mercy Emergency Department provide care for children in the community from birth to 18 years of age, but will screen and stabilize to the extent of the ED capabilities all persons seeking emergency medical care.# Patients and their families are treated with compassion in a family-centered environment that recognizes physical, emotional, financial, social, educational, and spiritual needs.# We promote the health and well-being of children and their families by providing the highest level of pediatric emergency medical care and advocate for their needs. #

Job Requirements:
Associates Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred Must obtain BSN within 5 years of start date 1-2 years# RN experience required If hired to work in Missouri, must have Missouri RN License verified prior to start date, and Kansas RN license within 90 days. If you are hired to work in Kansas, you must have your Missouri and Kansas RN license verified prior to starting. NLRN required TNCC and PALS certification preferred Specialty Nursing Certification encouraged for all eligible nurses (preferred) EEO Employer/Disabled/Vet
