PRS CrisisLink is a nationally recognized crisis center serving individuals reaching out the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline hotline and chatline across the United States and locally. Crisis Workers answering these calls are a blended staff of volunteers and employee who require a unique, creative, and empathetic individual to support their growth and development. We are currently have an opportunity for a Shift Supervisor, 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:30pm), to supervise and support employee and volunteer crisis workers scheduled on this shift.

What are the shift times? Our only Shift Supervisor position open is the 2nd Shift, 3:00PM-11:30PM. Includes weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.
What is the rate of pay? We pay a competitive starting salary $45,860, more depending on related experience.

What is the environment of the call center? All our services are being provided remotely due to COVID-19. We can train, monitor via Zoom, and take calls via our cloud phone system.
How many other people will I be working with? On any given shift there will be 3-7 Crisis Workers to include volunteers and overlap of Shift Supervisor on some days.
What do people call, text or chat with CrisisLink about? Individuals going through any type of emotional or mental health crisis, including experiencing suicidal thoughts / ideation, depression, trauma, sexual violence, can use the hotline, chat, and textline services.
Our service is open to anyone who needs us, and every contact is a little bit different. Our services are offered locally in northern Virginia and nationally through the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline
Do I receive training? We offer extensive training for a total of about 90 hours.
Training includes online modules and on-the-job training (OJT) where you get to listen to a staff take calls and they listen to you take calls, providing important feedback. As a Supervisor you will also receive training on monitoring the quality of our services, providing feedback and operational job functions such as call flow management.
