Our Crisis Program Coordinator provides quality assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention services to agency and community residents. Provides clinical and administrative supervision to crisis staff. The ideal Program Coordinator will have the availability to work in the Florence, Casa Grande and Apache Junction areas.
Masters degree in the field; BHP with Independent License
One (1) year supervisory experience and/or program development.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Possess valid Arizona drivers license with acceptable driving record, home telephone, and reliable transportation.
Appropriate referrals and placements within the treatment continuum.
Knowledge of crisis program development.
Demonstrated ability to provide counseling/case management to SMI participants in the Mental Health
Demonstrated knowledge of special populations such as substance abuse.
Demonstrated ability to develop treatment plan and summary based on participants needs.
Demonstrated ability to distinguish between alcohol and other drug-related symptoms and other pre-existing physical problems or pathologic behaviors.
Demonstrated ability to understand the biopsychosocial influences and effects of dependencies.
Demonstrated knowledge of how the acute and chronic nature of the dependence and the ways medical,emotional, behavioral, social, educational, and other interventions are used to treat the participant.
Demonstrated knowledge of referral resources available to participants.
Will provide on-call after hours supervision/support when needed
Knowledge of catchment area gained through residence in local community.
Supervision of crisis staff, crisis intervention services to agency participants and residents in the community is strongly preferred.
