Work you'll do

As a Consultant within our practice you will:

  • Help clients develop comprehensive crisis management, Continuity of Operations (COOP), and business continuity and resilience plans and programs including playbooks, frameworks, and testing & exercise curricula

  • Enhance the client's ability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disruptive events

  • Facilitate use of technology-based risk assessment tools and methodologies to review, design and implement solutions

  • Work alongside subject matter experts to deliver client solutions

  • Participate in the development of deliverable content that meets the needs of the client and contract

  • Anticipate client needs and formulate solutions to client issues

  • Contribute to the growth and development of the Crisis Management practice

  • Contribute to new business proposal development

  • Manage your own personal and professional development

Our Risk Intelligence Team provides analysis and assessment of critical risk factors that can impact our Government and Public Service client's operations and overall environment. We help our clients navigate these complex risk factors in the areas of enterprise risk management, geospatial analytics, crisis management, and grants management.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need of employer sponsorship, now or anytime in the future.

  • Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Crisis Management, Risk Management, Business Administration, Economics, Political Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Geography, Geospatial Intelligence or related field

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas crisis management, emergency management, risk management, continuity of operations, business continuity or resilience, crisis communications, or disaster response or recovery

  • Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives

  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience

  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role

Preferred:

  • Graduate degree

  • One or more relevant certifications
