Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Crisis Management, Risk Management, Emergency Management, related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 8 years of experience in program or project management.

• 5 years of experience in setting up a (enterprise) crisis management capability, leading crisis response, delivering crisis management training, crisis/incident management, resilience, business continuity, or security.

Preferred qualifications:

• Ability to lead cross-functional problem-solving teams using structured approaches.

• Ability to maintain confidence and professionalism when leading others through ambiguous and complex situations.

• Ability to influence and have discussions diplomatically and fairly with a range of stakeholders.

• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.

As a Crisis and Resilience Regional Manager, you will be responsible to manage and execute the Crisis Management Program for Google's Technical Infrastructure (TI).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$248,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate effective crisis response to ensure minimal disruptions to the business, provide guidance, and serve as the primary point of contact during crises in your region, ensuring clear and effective communication with stakeholders.

• Manage/support the development and implementation of the crisis management program at the site/regional/global level, while maintaining awareness of emerging threats to the business that could result in a crisis. Drive the crisis management governance ensuring a smooth synchronization with all business partners.

• Assess program risks, critical dependencies, and continuous improvement to ensure a mature program and effective execution. Establish appropriate systems and resources to support the management of crisis events.

• Organize and deliver crisis management training and exercises, as well crisis reviews to assess response efficacy and lessons learned.
