The Crew Leader in Baskets will supervise employees and insure adequate training is provided for all line staff. The position is responsible for the gift quality and accuracy of the work being performed. In addition, is accountable for all edible and non-edible component inventories associated with the gift being produced. The Crew Leader will also be responsible for accurate and timely record keeping, production paperwork, fruit usage, reject paperwork and timekeeping. Additional job duties will be discussed at the time of the interview.
Production experience is preferred.
Good intermediate math skills are required.
Computer skills with SAP and EWM experience are a plus.
Good verbal and written communication skills are required to interact effectively with different levels of authority and company personnel. Must be able to promote a team effort to achieve common goals, as well as give and receive constructive feedback.
Lean manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Lean manufacturing training will be provided.
Must have an understanding of established safety/quality standards and the ability to communicate them.
Must be a reliable self-starter, willing and able to learn new responsibilities and work independently.
Problem-solving and decision making skills are essential.
Must be able to withstand a production environment with exposure to dust, varying temperatures and noise. Physical requirements include standing for long periods, walking, bending, reaching, and twisting on a regular basis. Must be able to lift 20lbs.
Must be flexible with regard to job assignments as days, hours and support tasks may vary depending on production needs. Weekends and overtime may be required.
