What your day in this role might involve at OC-wichita falls:

General Purpose: Performs the collecting, packing, labeling and weighing of finished product from various machines centers according to our established procedures; then transports the packed product to the warehouse. Will maintain raw materials at the machines. Records and disposes of waste. Keeps a clean area.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Notify your supervisor immediately of any accident, near miss or on- the -job injury when it occurs no matter how insignificant it may seem.

• Quality focused - avoid any problems leading to scrap or miss production

• Team Player

• Participate in Process Teams, supporting the Team's goals for each area of expectation on your shift.

• Accurately weights, labels and packs finished product according to customer requirements.

• Completes all paperwork and daily checklist accurately and as required

• Operates forklift

• Visually inspect production and take corrective action

• Keep working area clean throughout shift

• Identifies problems and suggest methods to correct them

• Works independently and solve problems independently

• Responsible for appearance of finished fabric and pallets

• Follow up on work orders

• Other duties as assigned

Skills & Abilities:

Education or Formal Training: High school or GED

Material and Equipment Directly Used: Lock-Tag-Try, Control panel, Computer, Pick, Hoist, Forklift, Pallet jack

There are some essential physical requirements specific to our work environment, including being able to:

• Ability to stand for 12 hours straight

• Able to climb and descend stairs for up to 12 hours continuously

• Lift, push, and pull 50lbs. More than 100 times per day

• Able to do repetitive hand, arm, leg movements for 12 hours

• Must be able to squat, bend at the waist and knees freely
