To direct, coordinate and supervise the Credit Union loan and deposit operations and to ensure efficient member service, in accordance with Board Policy and Federal Regulations. Supervise the design and implementation of new loan or savings products and responsible for meeting financial goals for those products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following but not limited to:
Create and maintain a favorable image of Credit Union.
Maintain a professional appearance and perform all duties in a professional manner.
Provide excellent service.
Be able to explain features and benefits of all related Credit Union products and services.
Train staff on products, services, operations procedures, and computer systems to enhance their awareness of the services available to existing and potential members, and to ensure smooth day-to-day operation.
Responsible for the overall supervision and development of subordinates including assignment of work load distribution, performance, and merit review and salary administration.
Provide expertise to staff and assists in more complex problems and projects.
Coordinates and provides technical guidance and support.
Responsible to assure the credit union is in compliant with NCUA regulations and state/federal laws by acting as the credit union's Compliance Officer.
Produce training materials and conduct ongoing compliance training as needed. Answer staff regulatory questions.
Review, participate in and review proposed changes to credit union policies, procedures and products for compliance with applicable regulatory and consumer laws, rules and regulations, and provide recommendations for any necessary changes taking into account improved efficiency and member service.
Responsible for the review and approval of nonrecurring adjustments and for the initiation of exceptions as deemed necessary to Credit Union Policy, procedures, etc. to resolve individual problems.
Responsible for updating credit union operations and lending activities with respect to regulation changes and for efficiency.
Perform internal audit functions monthly to monitor all financial and non-financial adjustments.
Manages responsibility for receiving, balancing, and posting payroll deductions, ATM transactions, ACH transmission, and share draft transmission.
Seek to develop a positive "team" environment and encourages and supports staff to develop their skills to create satisfaction and promote internal career paths.
Encourage and develop staff to cross-sell services and products of CU.
Responsible for soliciting and reporting feedback of member and staff receptiveness of credit union services and products, and reporting to CEO.
Monitor credit union operations, security and safety procedures.
Periodically analyzes loan portfolios; i.e., compliance, policy and missed opportunities, etc.
In accordance with the team philosophy of this not-for-profit organization, the person filling this position may occasionally be required to carry out or assist with other tasks in addition to the duties listed on this job description.
Review systems and procedures to protect the quality and profitability of the loan portfolio, identify potential problem credits; work with special credits group to minimize losses, and coordinate the efforts of underwriters, credit analysts, and processing personnel.
Supervises MSR/Loan Processors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but not limited to interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
2 years MLO (Mortgage Loan Originator) experience
1 year Branch Management experience with 4 direct report.
1 ACH (Automated Clearing House) experience
1 year CTR (Currency Transition Reporting) experience
1 years of BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) experience
1 years NMLS (Nationwide Mortgaging Lending System) experience
A strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong organizational focus.

Additional Knowledge & Skills
CUNA Management School attendee or graduate
Bachelor of Business Administration degree or related field five years of financial institution experience; with three years in middle management position
