Class Start Date: October 7th, 2019

Schedule: Monday through Friday with rotating weekends from 12:30 pm to 8:00 pm

Pay: $16.25 hour/ plus monthly bonus opportunities and afternoon differential (10%)

Responsible for contacting customers who have fallen past due in making payments. Utilizes professional and persuasive communications to keep the goodwill of customers. Attempts to contact customers and third parties at all numbers. Responsible for leaving professional and urgent messages in an attempt to get the customer to call back. Handles calls for all levels of delinquent accounts and presents all payment options or strategies to resolve card member delinquency issues


  • Reviews credit history and other information regarding delinquent accounts. Maintains productivity standards while ensuring prompt follow up.

  • Arranges payment programs for delinquent accounts. Ensures terms are acceptable to the company and the customer.

  • Adheres to Fair Debt Collection and Practices law and the companys Collection Practices policy.

  • Responsible for contacting customers who have fallen past due in making payments by keeping goodwill of customers. Contacts customers and third parties. Handles calls for all levels of delinquent accounts and presents all payment options or strategies to resolve card member delinquency issues.

  • Responsible for leaving messages in an attempt to get the customer to call back.

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here's what we need from you:

  • 1+ years of experience in Customer Service or related field

Preferred Qualifications

If we had our say, wed also look for:

  • H.S. Diploma or GED

  • 2+ years of experience in Collections or related field

  • Sales experience

  • Negotiation experience

  • Collections experience

  • Worked in a metric/goal driven environment

Responsibilities: * Centralized ordering and receiving from internal and external vendors for products such as evaluations, appraisals, title work, etc. for consumer Home Equity Credit Lines (HECLs). * Centralized receipt and imaging of documents needed for loan processing such as tax returns, bank statements, insurance info, etc. from branches and customers. * Utilize established tracking tool for all orders and follow-up if orders not received timely or issues are identified. * Monitor and resolve items in the centralized RE Ordering email box. * Receive Appraisals sent from other lenders, complete form with relevant info needed, and forward to internal evaluation team for review. Track for completion. * Assist loan processors and branches to resolve title issues, value issues, etc. * Maintain files, documents, notes, etc. Responsible for verifying completeness of files with all necessary documents and signatures required. * May answer questions and follow up with clients, branches, vendors, etc. * Requires High School diploma or equivalent and some previous banking or loan process, documentation, or loan assistant experience or other directly related experience. * A combination of education and experience may job requirements. * Has knowledge and understanding of value, title and other stipulations required for consumer real estate transactions. * Basic knowledge of banking/lending processes, loan principles, documentation and loan systems helpful. * Must have good organizational and customer service skills. * Must possess numeric and verbal aptitudes. * Good written and verbal communications skills. * Ability to complete processes and meet deadlines. * Working knowledge pc's and various word processing, spreadsheet or related software. * Excellent typing, Outlook, Word and Excel Zions Bancorporation West Valley City UT
