Position Overview

Responsible for assisting in all areas of the credit collection process and other routine office duties; may assist the Credit Manager in some of these functions. This position has direct reporting responsibility to the Credit Manager where appropriate.

Essential Job Duties:

• Assist in Accounts receivable, cash receipts/collections and daily deposit.

• Customer Service: Invoice copy requests, Insurance Certificate requests, lien releases, etc.

• Payment Posting: AR & Cash Sales

• Assist with other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

• Cross-train as required in other areas.

• Complies with Company's attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.

• Other duties as assigned by location management

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Minimum education required-High school or GED

• Minimum experience required-1-2 years office administration including accounting related duties.

• Special skills/knowledge required-Strong verbal and written skills, and ability to pursue collections as needed to meet goals of company. Computer literate in applicable software and hardware applications. Working knowledge of collections and lien holder laws helpful.

• Confidentiality requirement--high

• Physical demands include lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. on a random basis, standing, walking or sitting for extended periods of time, and bending or stooping.
