In connection with Middle Market Banking Credit Services' mission of supporting risk management activities, Credit Services has an immediate opportunity for a Credit Analyst 3 in Minneapolis, MN. Nationally, Credit Services manages 2,300+ relationships with direct and operating exposure of up to $20 million; total credit exposure underwriting responsibilities are $3.4 billion. The selected candidate will be part of a team that directly participates in the credit support of the Regional Commercial Banking Offices (RCBO's) in the Middle Market Bank's Central Region.
Responsible for analyzing complex companies and industries and conducting presentations on findings to senior management.
Conducting complex credit investigations and analyzing diverse credit information for loans.
Analyzing/formalizing documentation of loan transactions and/or credit history of customers.
Assisting in preparation of credit reports for presentation to lending officers and/or approval committees.
Performing research/analysis related to projects such as industry studies and management reports.
Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Strong analytical skills including analyzing complex data
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Commercial banking experience
A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, finance, or accounting
