Credit Risk Management (CRM) is one of the risk type functions, alongside Market and Operational Risk, within the Risk Division and is responsible to set risk type methodologies, principles, policies and models in order to manage risk type-specific control framework.
The CRM Change function within CRM is responsible for driving and facilitating strategic transformation and process re-engineering programs of work in relation to the functional capability required within CRM to manage the E2E credit life cycle. Some of the key programs of work are "Strategic Data Management", "E2E Workflow", "Portfolio Analysis, Appetite & Monitoring", "Rating Models", and "Counterparty Credit Risk". The delivery of change requires close collaboration with key functions outside of Credit, namely Front Office, Chief Information Office, Finance, Operations and Risk IT.
Description of the Role
This is an AVP level role, generally requiring relevant work experience. You will become an integral member of the CRM Change team.
Project lead who can drive projects to their end-to-end solutions
Develop and manage relationships with sponsors and stakeholders across business lines and supporting infrastructure teams
E2E project management - coordinate timely execution of global projects/initiatives, which includes planning, identification of milestones, accompanied by user acceptance test phases as well as roll out, project documentation, tracking within the budget and the time frame
To increase identification and management of process re-engineering programs with the aim to increase efficiency and achieve quality improvements
Maintain production of deliverables, ensuring adherence to deadlines and to establish quality standards
Support in the control and implementation of the IT system including budget planning and control
Analysis of ad-hoc queries and ability re-prioritize in order to support urgent activities at short notice
Regular attendance of scheduled meetings & telephone conferences e.g. presentation of work results to decision makers/work groups, partly processing of meetings and telephone conferences (agenda, keeping minutes)
Coordinate escalation of critical issues in a timely manner as per agreed processes
Creation of presentations as a basis for discussion with various control planes/stakeholders
Leadership (project) teams and work groups
Support the program & team management for the development of the business strategy
Ensure compliance with regulations as well as with Deutsche Bank policies and procedures
Identify, remediate and mitigate risk: Audit items and Self-Identified Issues (SIIs)
Skills & Qualifications
You should be able to demonstrate these specific skills and background:
Work experience in the financial industry, with experience relevant to credit risk functions
Experience in project/change management environment, including ability to facilitate meetings/workshops
Motivated, self-starting - able to initiate and lead projects to the desired business outcomes
Assertive with excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
Excellent communication (written & oral) and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build trust and to mediate between various stakeholders
Ability to communicate effectively and to influence peers and senior managers, with the confidence and ability to structure, summarize, present project status as well as defend recommendations and business outcomes
Ability to develop innovative and creative solutions
Ability to understand the big picture and processes F2B in order to identify and manage interactions and dependencies in a timely manner
Delivery focused with ability to prioritize multiple assignments and requests, and meet tight deadlines
A team orientation toward the role, including experience managing a team (both from project delivery and line management perspective)
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize well
Detail-orientated, with the ability to interpret numbers and key performance indicators, and translate conclusions into proper actions
Graduate/post-graduate degree with a focus on business administration, finance, risk management or consulting
Good knowledge of the CIB division and its products would be advantageous
High proficiency of MS Office with emphasis on PowerPoint, Word and Excel. VBA and SQL skills are also desirable
