Credit Risk Analyst
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Manage the credit risk within a diversified portfolio of accounts related to sales on credit to Philips customers, working in close collaboration with the collections team to maximize sales and minimize write-offs.
You are responsible for (but not limited to)
Evaluating customer credit-worthiness and setting policy of the decisions/judgement regarding credit offers for the customers.
Assigning credit limits and risk categories according to a defined approval matrix and SAP Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM), including the assessment of potential doubtful/bankrupt customers in cooperation with Philips supported businesses.
Facilitating the release of blocked sales orders based on a defined approval matrix with each business.
Leveraging credit risk mitigation tools.
Reviewing credit reports.
Managing bankruptcy and doubtful accounts for the Health Systems and Respironics markets.
Managing relationships with third-party collection agencies - responding to routine correspondence, sending of files, reconciling of accounts, and requesting payments for vendors.
Establishing, implementing, and maintaining an effective delinquency control and follow-up program for all customer accounts that are late, delinquent, potentially delinquent, or written-off.
Executing the collection process for defined strategic customers; organizing, supporting, and developing the cash and collection process.
You are part of
The Credit Risk team within Credit & Collections, located at the Philips Global Business Services (GBS) hub in Nashville, TN - responsible for leading operational execution, reducing complexity, and increasing efficiencies as the in-house team that continuously improves performance to better support our customers. The Philips GBS Nashville hub has experienced significant growth in the Greater Nashville area since the original announcement of adding 800+ jobs in 2017. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or other related field
4+ years of related professional experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SAP (or similar software)
Familiarity and understanding of financial statements
General understanding of customer and market needs and structure
Good understanding of finance and accounting processes and tools
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Customer service experience
