The Credit/Collections Clerk will work directly with the A/R Credit & Collections Manager in maintaining the aging and ensuring that the accounts are current. Position is also responsible for reviewing insurance certificates and credit worthiness, and subsequent set up of production units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collection of customer receivables, primarily by telephone or e-mail.

  • Assisting in resolution of customer disputes and delinquencies

  • Establishing professional working relationships with customers to facilitate timely resolution of past-due balances

  • Reducing past due balances

  • Communicating credit risks or bad debt to manager immediately

  • Participating in bi-weekly status meetings with manager

  • Extensive interaction with other company departments

  • Ensuring unapplied credits are identified on a timely basis and cleared against outstanding receivable balances as deemed appropriate by customer.

  • Reviewing insurance certificates

  • Pre-screening new customers for credit worthiness

  • Serve as back up to manager

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Strong communication, organizational, time management, and telephone skills

  • Working knowledge of Excel and Word

  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, multi-task and prioritize

  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Five to Seven years' experience in the credit and collections field

  • Knowledge of Great Plains and Pinnacle a plus

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Prompt and regular attendance is required, employees are expected to begin work at the start of their scheduled shift and to complete their assigned work shift according to the responsibilities of their position.

This position works standard business hours, but may require long hours and some weekend work.

Travel:

Some out-of-state/country and overnight travel may be expected.

Technical Marketing Quality Control Representative includes but is not limited to Vendor Product Compliance, Client Training, Service / Product recommendations, Training of Battery Compliance, and any improvements of existing products to customers and staff. Key Responsibilities: * Act as primary technical interface for production crews, customers and employees on battery compliance. * Review production crews needs with clients and Sales for upcoming shoots to provide comprehensive specifications and recommendations for camera packages, accessory and workflow packages. * Liaise with Operations, Product Development and Engineering to create and recommend new product services and improve existing products. This also includes close collaboration within and outside Panavision to test and verify compliance of 3rd party products. Documentation of new services or product specifications will be required. * Work closely with Operations and Sales to recommend the purchase of and/or third-party rental of new equipment and /or workflow solutions that will enhance our clients experience using Panavision, focusing on products with technical improvements. * Demonstrate new and existing products for clients and staff. * Assist with tracking and reporting of technical support issues. * Evaluate technical support trends and elevate issues into Engineering for investigation and TSA process. * Plan and carry out educational seminars and lectures on the use of Panavision and 3Rd Party equipment for clients and staff (i.e Seminars, Demos). * Travel to other offices to rollout new products and services. Will be responsible for training and educating production crews and staff on new product and services. * As Panavision develops new products, this position will be actively responsible for rolling out new product lines to customers. Travel will be required. * Ensure highest level of customer satisfaction through job completion by interfacing with all internal departments while maintaining active, informative contact with client. Ensures seamless hand offs between various areas and between shifts. * Assist in the investigations and resolution of potential client damage situations, if needed. Interact with Operations and Sales to ensure proper cost estimates. * Complete incident reports in a timely manner and up to date for all internal users. * Other duties as needed. Skills/Experience Required: * Clear understanding of set call procedures and on set etiquette. * In depth knowledge of battery compliance rules and travel regulations. * Diplomacy. Knowledge of key individuals, studios and companies in the industry. * Understanding of market climate with the ability to make recommendations for new product services and/or technologies. * Operational and technical knowledge of Camera, Accessories, and Electronics. * Ability to read and understand technical documentation. * Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. * Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment under strict time constraints and maintain high performance standards and output. * Strong working knowledge of Panavision's equipment and inventory. * Knowledge of common camera rental practices. * Ability to facilitate communication between departments. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Active information gathering and dissemination. * Strong computer skills and can adapt to software changes.
