Citibank, N.A. seeks a Credit Portfolio Senior Officer for its New York, New York location.

Duties: Operate as a Risk Infrastructure Scoring Service Specialist within the Global Consumer Risk Management organization.

Act as a senior strategy specialist for the transformation of the credit risk infrastructure for Citi Banamex Consumer business. Approve business, functional and technology requirements for testing and deployment of credit risk scoring/modeling service platforms. Monitor requirements, design and implement process changes, including re-engineering of end-to-end roles, artifacts, controls and audit trails for credit risk model implementation and monitoring, as applied to systems across credit life cycle (including acquisition, ECM, collections & recovery, and fraud). Recommend testing approaches, testing design and test cases, and report results.

Provide partners with risk policy, model development, infrastructure delivery, controls and governance teams to ensure successful model implementation, monitoring, delivery and use of scoring platforms as a service across risk decision platforms. Partner with senior management across Risk and Technology divisions to resolve issues and clearly and accurately communicate improvements.

Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Business Management or closely related field and 8 years of progressively responsible experience as a Risk Analyst or closely related position. 8 years of progressively responsible experience must include:

Working in the Financial Services Industry; Utilizing SAS, SQL; Monitoring risk scorecards; Monitoring and deploying Risk Strategies across the credit life cycle, including acquisition, ECM, collections and recovery, and fraud; Utilizing Neural Network techniques; and Creating and implementing Credit Risk models. 25% international travel required. VIEW JOBS 10/7/2020 12:00:00 AM 2021-01-05T00:00 VP, Credit Portfolio Officer (Small Business Risk Lead) is a senior-level position responsible for leading activities including credit review, credit approvals and monitoring the portfolio to identify credit migration in coordination with the Risk Management team. The overall objective of this role is to manage Citi's portfolio exposure to client and counterparties globally. Responsibilities: * Support efforts to optimize risk-return dynamics of the Small Business credit card portfolio by overseeing credit risk strategies and developing recommendations for policy optimization throughout the customer lifecycle * Develop framework for portfolio risk assessment including evaluation of credit and financial performance across varied lending products and industry segments * Understand applicable credit policies, industry regulations and the requisite impact of those governance items to new initiatives * Establish and leverage cross-functional partnerships and network with key internal and external constituencies * Utilize Statistical Analysis System (SAS) in a UNIX environment to perform risk, financial and data analyses including profiling, sampling, forecasting and new program due diligence * Prepare risk management presentations for senior management that include analytics on expected portfolio performance and areas of potential risk and/or opportunity * Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Qualifications: * 4+ years of experience in credit card risk management or equivalent training and experience preferably in the financial services industry * Experience with analytical or data management tools (e.g. SAS, SQL, R) * Proven ability to develop and apply evidence-based frameworks to business goals credit and risk principles toward business goals * Demonstrated ability to synthesize and prioritize * Proven ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment * Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational and analytic skills * Small business industry experience is preferred * Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational and analytic skills Education: * Bachelor's degree/University degree in statistics, mathematics, engineering or similar quantitative disciplineor equivalent experience * Master's degree in mathematics, Economics, statistics, engineering, or a similar quantitative discipline preferred Citigroup Inc.
