The Credit Administrator gathers, verifies, organizes, and analyzes all available credit information for new and existing customers, assigns appropriate credit lines, contacts delinquent customers in a timely and professional manner and communicates same with branch management and teams. We work together to provide the best service to our customers and company team members.

As a Credit Administrator with Hajoca, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Investigate and respond to credit and accounts receivable inquiries from customers, branch personnel and management in a timely manner

  • Manage credit lines and delinquencies and place accounts on hold as necessary

  • Gain a working understanding of the liens/bond statutes to collect accounts receivable

  • Utilize attorneys, collection agencies, and/or third party assistance to file liens, bond claims, or other legal action necessary to safeguard and collect accounts receivable

All interested applicants must possess:

  • Associates degree, or 4-year college degree

  • 2 years' experience in a customer service role

  • Accounting / mathematical ability and experience

  • The ability to develop collaborative and influential relationships with team members, customers, and branch personnel to optimize sales

  • Ability and willingness to travel to branches: local and some overnights as position expands

  • Ability to plan and prioritize competing assignments, as well as take direction

  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel)

Our ideal candidate will also:

  • Wholesale distribution experience

  • Drive to assist team members with other tasks as required

  • Experience in Eclipse software system

Essential Job Responsibilities__________________________________ 1. Performs tasks for the credit analysis process. a. Conducts credit investigations and analyzes credit information pertaining to loans. b. Breaks down the balance sheet and income statement accounts; analyzes the results and compares the current financial results to the prior financial periods. c. Prepares reports to summarize analysis of borrowers' financial condition and capacity to repay debt. Prepares loan request submissions for various Loan Committees or other approving authorities. d. Prepares projections on income, sales, expenses and net worth of the client with the credit report or for a request by the lender or management. e. Values collateral when necessary, reviews appraisals and assesses collateral coverage. f. Assigns Risk Ratings. g. Follows assigned portfolio or accounts for updated financial statements or other relevant information to assess borrower credit quality through the quarterly triage process. h. Assists loan officers in gathering information relevant to analyzing the borrower. i. Prepares reports on problem assets for the Criticized Asset Committee. j. Participates or assists in projects or tasks necessary for the Credit Administration function. k. Ensures that all credit analysis activities are conducted in accordance with prescribed lending policy. 2. Achieves goals assigned to the Credit Analyst as part of the department's annual operating plan. 3. Adheres to the Credit Analysis department's Service Level Agreement with the Commercial Services and Consumer Services business line. 4. Partners with the lending staff in joint calling effort in support of new and existing relationships. 5. Builds knowledge of commercial lending and banking regulations, procedures, and operations. Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications___________________________ 1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/ Economics or a related field of study with a minimum GPA of 3.0, or equivalent experience required. Specialized financial analysis training preferred. 2.
