The Credit Clerk is responsible for the administrative support of the day to day operations of the credit department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for researching invoice short pays and follow-up to invoice resolution.

  • Provide excellent customer service internally and externally by responding to customer invoice copy requests in a timely manner.

  • Responsible for maintenance of ageing reports including follow-up with customer to resolve short payments or skipped invoices.

  • Daily resolution of all invoice issues on previous day's route reports.

  • Processing and monitoring progress of credit applications; including follow-up to completion.

  • Processing of non-sufficient funds checks; including notes and changes to customer accounts.

  • Processing of references for credit applications.

  • Data entry and maintenance of new customer accounts in system.

  • Auditing new customer account files for completion

  • Liaison with outside entities for collections of old write-off accounts

  • Other duties may be assigned as needed

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience with credit/collections is preferred

  • Computer experience in Microsoft Word and Excel:10 key.

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent

Responsibilities: The Infection Control Nurse will assess, plan, organize, develop, implement and evaluate the infection control and employee health programs and their activities in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations and JCAHO standards. The Infection Control Program is directed by a Medical Director to ensure and maintain an effective infection control program. The Infection Control Nurse duties include: * Overseeing the annual development, implementation, and evaluation of Infection Prevention goals and objectives, and conducting planning and risk assessment to reduce and control the risk of health care associated infections * Maintaining an effective hospital-wide program for the surveillance, prevention and control of infections, in accordance with Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) recommendations and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (TJC) standards * Integrating infection control into all hospital activities and developing awareness about the Infection Prevention and Control Program. * Maintaining regular communication with agencies, healthcare facilities, and federal, state, and local public health authorities * Preserving and improving the quality of care by sharing information with all relevant departments * Managing the collection and analysis of healthcare associated infection data, as well as the development and presentation of reports and educational programs for personnel and patients * Ensuring that requested patient information is provided to the Department of Health Services, and recommending to local leadership/Risk Management when Public Health/Dept. of Health should be notified in the event of an outbreak * Overseeing infection prevention and control practices, as well as assisting departments in survey readiness and preparation for regulatory standard reviews, accreditation and licensure surveys in both the acute and ambulatory care areas (e.g. The Joint Commission, OSHA, DPH, CMS, etc.) * Perform additional duties assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: * Ability to project a professional image. * Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. * Working knowledge and ability to apply professional standards of practice in job situations. * Strong organizational and analytical skills. * Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant . * Working knowledge of personal computer and software applications used in job functions (Word processing, graphics, databases, spreadsheets, etc.) * Persons who have been found guilty by a court of law of abusing, neglecting, or mistreating individuals in a health care related setting are ineligible for employment in this position. * Freedom from illegal use of drugs. * Freedom from use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace. Education and/or Experience: * Graduate of an accredited nursing program. * Minimum nursing degree from an accredited school or nursing. * Must have a minimum of two (2) years clinical experience in an acute hospital or other related healthcare facility. * Must possess a working knowledge of epidemiology, microbiology, infectious disease, and aseptic technique to include standard/universal precautions. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: * Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state employed. * APIC Certification in infection control preferred, but not necessary. * Must maintain current Provider CPR Certification throughout employment.
