Join us, and you'll have a critical role in continuing Apple's legacy of efficiency and success.We are seeking a strong Finance leader to manage the Americas Credit Card and Cash Reconciliation Team within the Order to Cash organization.This position is based in Austin, TX.

Key Qualifications

Experience leading, motivating, building and developing a high performing team.Proven track record of driving operational excellence, consistently delivering superior results while maintaining a high standard of internal control.Foster a team environment and a strong Customer First culture that ensures delivery of timely and quality services to internal/external customers and meets/exceeds customer service level agreements.Strong cross-functional leadership in driving E2E process improvement and developing innovative solutions to complex issues, with a passion to build best in-class shared services capability.Demonstrated ability to effectively partner and influence positive changes.Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with a natural ability to connect with people at multiple levels of the organization .Strong financial and business acumen, ability to quickly learn, understand and converse around key business issues.Solid understanding of the end-to-end O2C process specifically in the credit card services area preferred.High level knowledge of GAAP, SOX, reconciliation, general ledger, finance and accounting processes preferred.Strong technical skills (Excel, SAP or other databases) preferred.Strong process and data analytical skills with ability to translate analytics into actionable business insights, and proactively partner with key stakeholders to drive improvement.Experience in business process re-engineering and technology solution.Ability to work in a high volume environment with stringent deadlines.

Description

  • Build and retain high-performing team to deliver key performance results. Establish team goals and objectives, and delegate as appropriate to a staff of direct reports.

    Ensure GAAP, company finance policies, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, banking and credit card regulations, and tax and legal requirements are followed. Ensure timely, accurate, and comprehensive reconciliation, reporting and accounting of payment processing transactions, including credit card and gift card reconciliations, retail store cash analysis and cash-in-transit reconciliations. Manage all close, balance sheet recon, SOX/audit and compliance activities around payment chargeback activities.

    Proactively partner with business stakeholders to drive actionable opportunities. Partner with GPO to support cross-regional best practice sharing. Partner with multiple teams to support NPI, GEO Expansion and other key business initiatives that impact credit card and alternative payment processes.

    Maintain an awareness of credit card industry trends and changes, and understand how they may impact Apple's processes both from compliance and operational perspectives. Establish and maintain relationships with banking partners and credit card networks, and serve as the escalation point for individuals within the team. Participate in the development of processes for credit card accounting as they relate to new programs and products in which Apple might engage.

    Create and distribute any related analysis and reporting. Work closely with Information Systems & Technology, Order-to-Cash, and various Business Finance groups to ensure that root causes are identified, processes are sustainable, scalable, and produce accurate results Lead and implement major, complex projects with substantial impact to the organization

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or similar MBA / CPA is a plus
