Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Credit Analyst to join our Wholesale Finance team in Kennesaw, GA. Under the direction of the Credit Manager, the Credit Analyst completes customer due diligence in accordance with company policies and procedures, conducts research, financial analysis, manages conditions and documentation for both new and existing Yamaha dealerships. Conducts credit reviews to assess and mitigate risk, recommends decisions that protect the interest of YMFUS, and follows for conditions needed to complete deal setup or continuation.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Conduct due diligence/risk assessment of small/medium new prospect files, financial analysis, credit line recommendation and documentation requirements.
Complete small/medium annual dealer reviews based on company policy. Assess risk through financial analysis and operational performance, recommend credit line, conditions, and documentation needed to continue dealer relationship.
Provide internal and external communication between sales, operations, financial services, and dealers.
Monitor dealer accounts for timely follow-up of outstanding conditions, satisfaction or waiver as well as on-going compliance with credit line approval.
Review and assess significant changes to existing dealers and determine go-forward security and documentation requirements (buyouts, ownership restructuring, additional collateral).
Complete special reviews associated with permanent increases, temporary increases, overlines, product additions, financial triggers, and high-risk account monitoring.
Other projects, assignments or functions in support of portfolio risk management as needed.
Decision-Making Responsibility (describe the degree of autonomy and authority in project/work activities and supervision expectations)
Decision authority on smaller credit lines based on policy. Ability to work independently with
supervision on quality of work and timely completion.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration
1 + year of underwriting/financial analysis experience
Excellent time management, organizational & multi-tasking skills
Strong analytical skills
Cross-functional team environment skill set and ability to work independently
Minimal travel required
Must perform all other duties outstandingly and consistent with guidelines, as assigned
