Position Responsibilities:

  • Conducts credit investigations and analyzes credit information pertaining to loans Investigates all available sources of credit and financial information, including reporting services, credit bureaus, other companies, main office files, and branches.

  • Analyzes financial statements and related material.

  • Analyzes financial conditions and trends.

  • Reviews and reports non-compliance with loan covenants.

  • Determines cash flow using appropriate tax analysis.

  • Prepares summaries, presents facts, and offers opinions concerning credit-worthiness.

  • Provides credit information and references for customers, loan officers, or other agencies as requested.

  • May provide rates and loan information to clients.

  • Ensures that all credit files include proper documentation including current financial statements, agency reports, etc.

  • Maintains control over current accounts, noting payment progress, watching for any developing problems, and keeping loan officers informed.

  • Writes credit memorandums.

  • Accompanies lenders on business calls.

  • Conducts industry research.

  • Assists with special projects as assigned.

  • Requires a Bachelor's with a minimum GPA of 3.0 with 3.5 preferred in the following degree fields: Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or related field (lending/credit procedures and processes or other directly related experience and/or internships a plus).

  • A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.

  • Basic knowledge of financial statements and general analysis gained through college coursework.

  • Limited use and/or application of basic credit concepts.

  • Ability to work in a team environment with lending officers and staff.

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to make sound decisions regarding loans.

  • Attention to detail and high degree of ownership in work product.

  • Good PC skills and proficient working knowledge of Excel required (financial modeling, using shortcuts and VBA knowledge a plus).

Working at the intersection of business and technology, the Lead Business Analyst will have a thorough understanding of business processes and data analysis, while continuing to develop their leadership, management, and communication skills. Responsibilities: * Be fully aware of the backlog's health and manage the progress and maintenance * Work with the Director(s) to understand the business vision and expectations * Ability to lead, coach, and mentor team members * Present new ideas, tools, and resources to improve the product evolution process * Be present for your team, as they will look to you for guidance on the products and feature workflows * Ability to liaison between lines of business and the development team, while working with a wide range of stakeholders and collaborating with your team * Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals * Takes initiative to respond to all team's communication to ensure that development continues to move forward * Review requirements and documentation for consistency and accuracy * Owns and brings to fruition all requirements that they are responsible for * Makes final decision on severity of defects * Manages the prioritization, including business value, of product items * Assists team with removing impediments and blockers * Works closely with legal to team to ensure that our product is continuing to stay compliant * Works on backlog items and feature readiness by partnering up with support, training, client's stakeholders, requestors, and SME's of any other business units * Steps outside of the comfort zone to learn new skill sets that pertain to our product team needs * Takes initiative to partner with the training teams to ensure that the details being communicated out in the field are in line with the details of the feature * Play a large role in UAT to ensure a successful release * Maintain a positive and excited attitude so your team feeds off that energy * Does not wait to be approached by business, always come to business first * Leads backlog refinement and conducts refinement review * Helps coach and cultivate future BAs by recognizing each team member's individuality and career goals * Works hand in hand with scrum masters to ensure team readiness for sprint planning, sizing, sprint completions, demos to business, and meeting release dates * Being available and providing clarification and removing ambiguity to scrum team regarding any stories or features * Understanding the requirement needs for the iteration including the project responsibilities of the Business Analysts * Assists in all scrum ceremonies and managing sprint completion * Expectations are not limited to the above Desired Competencies: * Proficiency in business applications, data usage and management * Experience managing backlogs and creating various reports (burndown, velocity, capacity, etc.) * Proven self-starter strong communication and presentation skills with ability to translate complex business problems and solutions into easily consumable content * Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and ceremonies * Executive presence with strong business analysis skills * Strong internal and external customer focus * Advanced proficiency with user story definition, acceptance criteria writing in addition to facilitating highly effective refinement sessions * High-level proficiency in MS-Office products and working knowledge Desired Education/Experience: * BS/BA degree and Business Analysis Certificate; at least 3-4 years' experience in this field of work is preferred * Previous Business Analyst experience in Mortgage and/or Marketing industry * Proficiency in business applications, data usage and management Work Authorization: Must be able to verify identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.S. Other Duties: This job profile is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of job duties and responsibilities, as one may perform additional related duties as assigned in order to meet the needs of the organization.
