We are currently seeking a Credit Analyst to join our organization. As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing credit information on current and potential business borrowers. You'll determine the advisability of granting credit for diversified types of commercial loans by recommending the Loan Risk Rating per the Loan Policy. You'll assist Business Services Officers regarding annual loan reviews and origination of new loan requests. You'll complete analysis of new loan requests, annual reviews of existing loans and makes recommendations for Risk Ratings according to findings. You'll analyze credit data and spreads financial statements as part of risk analysis on new and renewing loans.

To thrive in this role, you should have three to five years of similar or related commercial underwriting or financial experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance. This position is one part administrative and one part internal member service. This might be the role for you if you enjoy work requiring attention to detail, problem solving, research, and technical writing.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Must have a thorough understanding of financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, tax returns and statements of cash flow with a working knowledge of commercial loans types, structures and practices.

  • Ability to evaluate credit data in determining loan risk.

  • Significant analytical thinking skills are required to analyze and assimilate financial information into actionable format with recommendations on course of action to take.

  • Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, deal with sensitive information and handle problem resolution.

  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers appropriately via in person, email etc.

  • Experience in multi-tasking, meeting strict deadlines, dealing with sensitive information, and problem resolution while providing exceptional service.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and proactively communicate.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Laser Pro.
