The Credit Analyst is responsible for the credit risk management of an assigned portfolio of customer accounts for avoidance of bad debt, increase cash flow, and to provide credit options to hedge risk and maximize sales.

Responsibilities include:

  • Underwriting and maintenance of customer credit lines in compliance with Sony policy and delegation of authority

  • Timely review and controlled release of credit blocked orders

  • Close interaction with the off-shore A/R collections team to achieve A/R KPI's

  • Direct involvement with customer collection efforts when escalation is required

  • System maintenance of customer and credit master data

  • Processing of new customer credit applications

  • Maintenance of customer sales tax exemption records

  • Completion of anti-money laundering and fraud screening procedures

  • Participation in project work and key department initiatives

  • Maintain positive working relationships with customers and various functional groups to ensure effective communication and flow of information for the resolution of disputes and risk issues

  • Periodic travel for customer visits and attendance at industry credit group meetings is required

Additional requirements include:

  • Minimum of 3 years credit & collection experience including financial statement analysis

  • Proficiency with MS Word, and Excel

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills

  • Experience with gathering and analyzing information through various sources

  • Good organizational skills with ability to work independently as well as team contributor

  • Bachelor's degree preferably with concentration in Finance or Accounting

  • Experience with, or exposure to robotic process automation is preferred

  • Familiarity with SAP, BW reporting, and Oracle is strongly preferred

  • Knowledge of leasing and inventory financing a plus

  • Knowledge of bankruptcy and preference law a plus

The Cooperative Education Security Analyst will be responsible for helping protect national critical infrastructure as an SME and/or team lead for the implementation of technical cyber security related projects for SUEZ NA. The incumbent will be responsible for assisting in the monitoring and reporting of systems used by SUEZ NA for cyber security operations. Work products will include learning about producing monthly metrics and analyzing regularly scheduled security reports; as well as producing data and reports for annual and specialized audits, projects and investigations. Additionally, the Cooperative Education Security Analyst will be responsible for deliverables related to cyber security operations and incident response. The Cooperative Education Security Analyst will be responsible for interpreting security events, logs and threat intelligence feeds.
