Summary: The Credit Analyst II gathers and analyzes credit information on current and potential borrowers; determines the advisability of granting credit for diversified and complex loan requests; assists loan officers in writing loan requests and promotes business for the Bank by maintaining outstanding customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Provides support to loan officers and works independently in the monitoring of renewals, past due payments and loan covenants, exceptions and borrowing bases to keep lender apprised of all issues and upcoming opportunities;
Assists loan officers in the preparation of credit proposals to enable informed decisions;
Prepares complete loan packages including the submission of applications and supporting documentation, preparation of credit memos, and the use of all related HSB systems;
Analyzes cash flow of companies and individuals, spreading financial statements, loan write-up preparation and other analysis, as needed;
Provides on-going loan monitoring and collateral inspections;
Assists Lenders with establishing and tracking pipeline calls including conducting research on companies of prospective customers;
Accompanies loan officer on "Calls" and observe lender's interaction with customers;
Prepares agendas and facilitate Loan Committee meetings;
Providing excellent service to Lenders and customers; and
Other work related duties including special projects, as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.A) from a four-year college or university in a business related field is required with some classes in accounting and/or finance; or equivalent; or, successful completion of Credit Analyst Training Program
Four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred;
Banking experience a plus.
