To serve as the key support for credit \ collections for all divisions of Fabricated Products \ Compounds. Conducts analysis of the credit worthiness of customers to establish credit limits and minimize risk. Collect on segment of accounts as delegated by Credit Manager via GetPaid collection tool. Control the credit exposures of these groups based on the DOA. Analyze/Report on short pay items and work with Customer Service/Sales through resolution. Release orders on credit hold at direction of Credit Manager per the DOA guidelines. Provide account reconciliation for all Fabricated Product accounts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
Assist Compiling the information/support for credit limit analysis on all new applications and for increases/renewals in lines of credit as required.
Record all information inside the Get Paid program to validate and record analysis and create the initial request for automation of approval in accordance with the DOA.
Assist with master data input for new customers as required by credit manager.
Collection on a set of accounts in GetPaid with outside customers as assigned by credit manager via phone calls or email.
Release held orders in SAP per the Delegation of Authority as assigned by the credit manager.
Assist with monthly \ weekly reporting as required by credit manager
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS in finance, accounting or business administration and \ or related work experience.
SAP 4.6 or My SAP experience
Four plus years' experience in credit/collections, or financial institution
Previous multi-currency trade experience
Strong written and verbal skills
Microsoft excel and word experience
The ability to interact effectively with all levels.
GetPaid experience a plus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as normally based in an office. Some of the work may be required in the operating units which can require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc. May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators. Travel including air travel or auto travel may occasionally be required.
