Abilene, Texas, United States

COMPENSATION: $60,000.00 annually

DUTIES:

• Analyze credit data and financial statements of individuals or firms to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.

• Prepare reports with credit information for use in decision making.

• Evaluates complex commercial and consumer loans and commitments, including assessment of a borrower's financial condition, the borrower's performance, the sufficiency of documentation, and compliance with Bank policy and regulatory requirements.

• Responsible for preparing comprehensive risk analyses of complex loans and commitments for bank.

• Analyze customer credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.

• Generate financial ratios, using computer programs, to evaluate customers' financial status.

• Prepare reports that include the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money to customer.

• Analyze financial data, such as income growth, quality of management, and market share to determine expected profitability of loans.

• Compare liquidity, profitability, and credit histories of establishments being evaluated with those of similar establishments in the same industries and geographic locations.

• Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements and assessment of credit requests, including new requests, changed requests, refinancing and annual due diligence.

• Provide recommendations tied to analysis and assessment of credit risk.

• Present analysis, findings, and recommendations to managers, especially findings that involve a borrower's ability to repay loans.

• Keep up to date with the company's lending protocols.

• Reconcile credit files and identify discrepancies and variances.

• Develop and prepare spreadsheets and models to support analysis of new and existing credit applications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Must be familiar with PCs and PC software, specifically Excel and Word.
