Cobham is seeking a Credit Analyst / Cost Accountant. This position is located in Prescott, AZ.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process all cash activity with bank through online transactions

  • Research cash receipts for proper account posting

  • Apply A/R lockbox checks, credit card and electronic deposits to the Receivables module of Syspro

  • Record and monitor all debit transactions and reconcile to RMA entries

  • Assist with detail for General Ledger monthly account reconciliations

  • Provide back-up support for Accounting Manager as needed

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Accounting or Business Administration

  • 4 years of related experience (credit & collections)

  • Ability to create and manipulate Excel spreadsheets

  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by export laws of the US. In order to be eligible you must be either a US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration

  • Experience with Syspro

Revises data as needed based on workload levels. * Performs rigorous analysis of budget requests by employing techniques such as cost benefit analysis, program trade-off, and exploring alternative methods of funding. * Checks the accuracy and adequacy of budget justifications submitted by managers in support of budget requests and prepares further justification as needed to support requests. * Projects labor and overhead rates for the preparation of fixed prices. Assures compatibility of projected costs between the budget and fixed prices for the assigned mission. * Performs a variety of budget analysis functions in assigned areas, budget presentation-enactment, or budget execution.
