VIEW JOBS 11/16/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-14T00:00 The Onsite Well-Being Coordinator will work closely with the Cigna Account Management Team and Customer's Health and Wellness team in executing the organization's health management goals. The primary focus of the Onsite Well-Being Coordinator is health promotion. In collaboration, with the Cigna account team, the Onsite Well-Being Coordinator executes the appropriate delivery and coordination of wellness programs including event scheduling and appointment coordination, community and vendor programs, and monitors effectiveness of the programs. The focus of the Onsite Well-Being Coordinator is the working well population of employees in aggregate. A core objective of this position is to facilitate wellness programs that educate and influence employees at the worksite to lead healthy lifestyles. for Premium Solutions Clients General Responsibilities 1. Collaborate with Employer on Development of Wellness Committee a. Collaborate with the employer in formation and facilitation of a wellness committee if one has not already been established and include different levels of employer leadership and employees from the worksite b. Ongoing collaboration and facilitation of employer wellness committee c. Review the proposed health promotion strategy with the wellness committee, partnering with the Cigna lead for health and wellness as appropriate 2. Collaborate in development and delivery of promotion campaign a. Newsletters, posters, email, raffles, reminders, etc. b. Overall promotion development and deployment 3. Health Awareness Seminars a. End to end coordination of health awareness seminars b. Deliver single or multi-session workshops on a group basis (lunch and learn) c. Develop or pull from defined list of wellness topics; may be tailored to population, season, etc. d. Education for various health related topics (nutrition/healthy eating, physical activity, etc.) 4. Wellness Campaigns a. Facilitate health related group activities among population over a defined time period (10K Steps, Resolution Revolution) b. Focus of campaign is to initiate behavior change and health improvement 5. Wellness Event/Fair a. Assist employer HR/Management in coordination of event/fair (member of employer led planning committee) i. Guest speakers, health assessment, open enrollment, family wellness event, annual biometric event, etc. 6. Wellness Resources a. Manage wellness bulletin board and electronic media board. b. Share health and wellness related educational materials. Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in health and wellness field Bachelor's degree in health education, health promotion, or related field required; CHES preferred Experience with direct member communication (written and verbal) Experience in health education and wellness coaching preferred Experience conducting educational groups preferred Highly skilled in making presentations and influencing others Excellent communication skills both in writing and verbally Self-starter; able to work independently to get results Competencies Actively learns about the business to be able to perform more effectively Good at focused listening Comes up with a lot of new and unique ideas Understands the cultures of organizations Breaks long term goals into components that can be discretely measured Focuses on engaging others in the course of delivering on goals Understands others' stylistic preferences and adapts approaches accordingly Overcomes roadblocks without being deterred by initial set-backs Candidate Selection: It is critical to the success of the program that the selected candidate is also an appropriate and complementary fit for the client culture and population – these considerations are integral to the selection and placement process. Therefore the lead candidate will be presented to the client for the opportunity of a cultural fit meet and greet. On-boarding It is a 120-day implementation before the Onsite Well-Being Coordinator interacts with employees at the worksite. Candidate recruitment, interviews, and background check are a few pre-hire activities that occur during this time. Once hired, the coordinator will complete 45-60 days of intensive Cigna training for all aspects of their new role. Curriculum includes but is not limited to systems training; Cigna product training, role-based training, and client benefit training. During this time, "site priming" activities will occur in advance of official kick off. Site priming activities include meetings with various levels of client leadership to gain an understanding of the population demographics and culture as well as what strategies have been successful among the population and those that may not have been successful. Paid Time Off and Leave The Onsite Well-Being Coordinator shall be entitled to paid time off (PTO) and other leave ("Leave") in accordance with Cigna's standard policies and procedures ("Policies"). PTO shall include: (a) vacation days; (b) personal days; (c) holidays; (d) floating holidays; (e) sick leave; and (f) other PTO in accordance with applicable law and current Cigna Policies. Leave shall include: (a) military leave; (b) Family Medical Leave (FMLA); (c) disability leave; and (d) other leave in accordance with applicable law and current Cigna Policies. Equipment Client shall provide the following equipment and supplies necessary for Onsite Well-Being Coordinator a. Office space of approximately 120-180 square feet with electrical outlet b. Standard office furnishings (desk, chair, etc.) c. Locking file cabinet d. Telephone land line within Client network. e. Equipment and services necessary for effective and efficient wireless telephone connectivity. f. Dedicated Client DSL line OR Open DSL line g. Client desktop computer connected to Client network, if Client required h. Client printer connected to Client network, if Client required Cigna will provide the following equipment and supplies necessary for Onsite Well-Being Coordinator a. Cigna laptop and air-card for connectivity to Cigna network b. Cigna printer and supplies c.
