We currently have an opening for a Credentialing Coordinator.

The Credentialing Coordinator will assist with administrative tasks pertaining to our practitioners' credentialing. Coordinator will organize, maintain and verify all aspects of the process, and maintain current files on practitioners. In addition will track the expiration of certifications to maintain up-to-date files, and assist health plan providers and customers with phone inquiries.

Job Duties include:

1.Credential all new providers, Re-credential existing Providers according to All applicable Medical Groups credentialing policies and procedures.

2.Submit credentialing information as requested by contracted HMOs.

3.Maintain and update files on all credentialed Providers.

4.Provide credentialing information on a Provider when requested by other HPN

departments.

5.Maintain and update Provider files in credentialing database.

6.Process Provider applications to HPN Credentialing Plan and NCQA specifications.

7.Process Ancillary applications to HPN Credentialing Plan and NCQA specifications.

8.Assist with the gathering of information required to complete credentialing/re-credentialing cycles for providers of all applicable Medical Groups.

9.Data entry for credentialing database with current information.



  1. Prepare and review practitioner files for Credentialing Committee review and decisions.

  2. Assist Management in training and teaching Credentialing Assistants in their assigned tasks.

  3. Other duties as assigned by Management.


Qualifications:

1.One years of varied, increasingly responsible secretarial experience.

2.Good written and verbal communication skills.

3.Knowledge of Windows-based computer skills preferred.

4.Well organized.

5.Ability to work well under pressure.
