  • Assist with hospital and/or provide credentialing

  • Handle telephone calls

  • Receive and tend to visitors

  • Provide help when needed with various projects for other employees

  • Tend to word processing, filing, and faxing duties

  • Assist with payroll


  • Credentialing experience desired

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company

  • Knowledgeable computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems

  • At least 1 year of Administrative Assistant experience preferred

Hours are 7:00 am-3:30 pm. Indianapolis CTC, a member of Acadia Healthcare's Comprehensive Treatment Centers, is a part of the leader in medication assisted treatment for individuals struggling with an opioid addiction. With full-circle care that includes a blend of therapies and the use of safe and effective medications, we are prepared to treat the entire problem, not just a piece of it. Position Characteristics The Medical Biller - Administrative Support role will perform routine administrative functions such as preparing correspondence and reports, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to patients or visitors; duties may include working with patients to secure billing information, reconciling billing reports and verifying insurance for patients. Responsibilities * Establishes, maintains and retrieves general files for clinic or department; * Manages and coordinate administrative programs and office activities; * Uses computer software to create spreadsheets, manage databases, and prepare presentations, reports, and documents; * Answers telephones and takes messages or transfers calls, schedule appointments and update calendars, * Assists in arranging staff meetings, handling incoming and outgoing mail and faxes, prepares memos, invoices, or other reports; * Maintains databases and filing systems, whether electronic or paper; * May perform basic bookkeeping; * May work with patients to secure billing information, reconciling billing reports and verifying insurance for patients; and, * Perform other duties as assigned.
