The Creative Strategist will serve as a thought leader on visual elements that impact advertising performance. As a Creative Strategist, you will be responsible for evangelizing, tracking and ensuring adherence to an in-house creative testing methodology rooted strongly in data. You will serve as a liaison between Media and Design teams, building strong rapport on both sides through process, documentation and a constant creative feedback loop.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in delivering strategic creative recommendations that can scale, loves using data to tell a story, and has direct experience managing Display/GDN/UAC ad creative. This individual will report directly to 3Q's head of Creative Strategy.
You will need to be quick on your feet, able to adapt to an ever changing, fast-paced, growing environment, and handle critical tasks that enable growth for our customers.
You'll be responsible for:
Driving the creative strategy for a large-scale account located in many countries; working directly with account and design teams to execute strategic creative testing (this is a large team with several moving parts at any given time)
Develop and maintain strategic creative testing roadmaps for account (by geo); forming testing hypotheses, prioritizing tests based upon anticipated impact and past testing results with an "always on" testing approach
Creative brief development in accordance to the creative testing roadmap
Creating a constant feedback loop between teams with organized documentation of all creative performance and tests
Prepare and present creative audits to clients through creative performance analysis, competitive research and persona development
Evangelizing 3Q's vision of high iterations of creative testing in order to improve advertising performance
Assisting in prioritizing the creative queue of requests based on a number of factors (urgency, expected impact, client expectations, etc.)
Producing thought leadership for 3Q Marketing purposes: blog posts, case studies, white papers, webinars
Continually working with project management and account teams to make processes smoother, build documentation, and produce case studies
Note: This is not a Design role. While some experience in Design is a plus, this role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the business side of producing advertising creative at scale for clients.
You'll need to have:
A minimum of 2 years experience working directly with creative production and a minimum of 2 years of media buying experience in visually-driven online channels
Extensive experience using data to fuel creative testing recommendations
An impressive knowledge of visual advertising platforms in Display (GDN, RDA) and Mobile (UAC)
Strong, professional and verbal communication skills (you should be more than comfortable speaking to clients and internal stakeholders)
Excellent writing and strategic content creation skills
