Position Summary/Objective The Creative Communications Department at Hearst operates within the corporate division, focusing on conveying the brand's message across various platforms. We collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure alignment with Hearst's mission and values.

The Creative Project Manager oversees and implements a diverse range of design projects, including campaigns, videos, and websites. This position bridges creative strategies with client management, liaising internally with the design team and key client stakeholders to translate ideas, concepts, and business requirements into effective communications tools. Externally, the position sources video production teams, photographers, and other freelance visual talent.

This position reports to the Senior Creative Director. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Manage campaigns, videos, and website production, leading ideation, organizing shoots/talent, and researching and collating assets.

Collaborate with stakeholders across business units and divisions to develop and implement creative projects, ensuring business goals and requests are satisfied and ideally exceeded. Oversee project logistics through tracking collateral, managing timelines, and coordinating with designers/editors. Produce video and photo shoots, book crews/talent, organize shoot locations, create mood board, and negotiate vendor rates.

Manage asset rights, brand library, and creative archive. Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams on various projects. Build strong and trusting relationships with internal clients.

Research and organize content, ideas, and vendors for creative projects. Develop strategies and implement new business systems to increase efficiency across the team. Author project briefs and overviews for project pitches and tracking Review completed project successes and learnings for future improvements, such as evaluating digital analytics, comparing industry standards, and leading team debriefs.

Assist Creative Communications leadership team in managing creative assignments, and routing projects for review. Desired Experience & Competencies 2-5 years of project management experience, preferably at an agency or creative organization. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Attention to detail and standards of excellence. Strong planning and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to work calmly and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and under tight deadlines.

Creative problem solver with an ability to think, plan, and execute multiple projects simultaneously. Comfortability and ease working with high level executives. Interest in creative and cultural trends.

In accordance with applicable law, Hearst is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role if hired in New York City. The reasonable estimate, if hired in New York City, is $75,000-$95,000. Please note this information is specific to those hired in New York City.

If this role is open to candidates outside of New York City, the salary range would be aligned to that specific location. A final decision on the successful candidate's starting salary will be based on a number of permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to skills and experience, training, certifications, and education.
