About the Role

We are seeking an experienced mobile-first, performance driven Creative Director to lead our brand creative team and oversee the development of all advertising and marketing materials. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in creative leadership, particularly in ecommerce, with a deep understanding of digital advertising strategies on Meta and TikTok. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand’s creative vision, ensuring that every piece of content aligns with our mission and speaks to our core audience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a cohesive creative strategy that enhances our brand identity and supports our sales goals, with a particular focus on Meta and TikTok advertising.
  • Own and update brand guidelines and our brand book.
  • Lead and inspire a team of graphic designers, copywriters, and multimedia specialists to produce high-quality, impactful content.
  • Develop, utilize, and maintain well-defined processes to measure and report on creative ads on Meta, Tiktok, Google, YouTube and more.
  • Have an understanding of cutting edge creative concepts that are driving action on social platforms; i.e. user generated content, testimonials, kinetic text, split screens.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to drive customer acquisition and engagement through innovative advertising campaigns.
  • Create, own and drive a weekly creative and copy review process with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate best practices in digital advertising to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Oversee the creative process from concept to execution, ensuring all content is on-brand and optimized for performance across all digital platforms.
  • Manage relationships with creators and freelancers as needed, ensuring high-quality outputs and adherence to timelines and budgets.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive understanding of platform-specific content creation that drives attention, engagement, and purchase decisions, particularly on Meta and TikTok. This includes expertise in tailoring content strategies to the unique algorithms and user behaviors of each platform to maximize campaign performance.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing successful digital advertising campaigns.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, particularly Meta and TikTok, with a deep understanding of their advertising tools and algorithms.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a creative team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a knack for storytelling that engages and resonates with a Christian audience.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and adjust creative strategies accordingly.

Physical Demands

Emotional Demands

  • Confident decision-making skills. You will need to review data and make sound decisions on what actions to take and make confident recommendations to senior management. You may need to make decisions quickly with limited amounts of information in urgent situations.
  • Data analysis & interpretation. You will have to process and review a lot of information from a variety of sources, understand how data is collected, assess data quality, and how to use the information.
  • Communication skills. You need to have advanced communication skills in both oral and written form. Emails and written communication with colleagues and external partners, written reports for senior executives. Able to communicate complex financial information to people outside of the finance department.
  • Comfortable with technology. Able to navigate data through computers, mobile, software, databases. Stay up to date with technology advances.
  • Oriented to detail. Financial forecasts rely on projections which can be impacted by even minor changes in sales patterns, consumer sentiment, economic shifts, competitor changes, etc. You will need to be attuned to small changes in all streams of data.
