The Creative Director is additionally responsible for conceptualization, visualization and design of B2C and B2B integrated marketing campaigns. You have a vision for how to solve problems, grow our brand and deliver strong cohesive work. A strong leader, you have a passion for process, people and leadership. This role requires innovative thinking and a unique perspective on traditional and online media. This senior creative thought leader takes a "roll up your sleeves" approach to day-to-day workflow, providing creative direction and supervision to a small but growing design team and acting as an individual contributor on some projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor a highly productive team of designers

  • Serve as "Player Coach" to the growing design team, rolling up your sleeves to pitch in and deliver work

  • Contribute to concept development, individually and as part of a team

  • Oversee multiple projects through all stages, from concept through to production

  • Collaborate with various project managers, department heads and senior management

  • Work closely with other members of marketing organization to develop brand standards for the company, and identifying new opportunities to enhance the brand across all mediums

  • Effectively manage project scope, schedule and deliverables in a fast-paced environment

  • Project manage Creative Team deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time, on brief, and within budget

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of experience in web, digital, email, print and traditional advertising.

  • Experienced with 5+ years in leading creative teams and individuals in challenging projects

  • Sophisticated knowledge of graphic design principles, including potential, as well as limitations, of online and offline media; must have the ability to storyboard or translate ideas to designers

  • Innovative thinker who stays ahead of creative techniques, trends and tools to apply best practices in every creative project

  • Ability to lead multiple projects at a time from concept to completion.

  • Collaborates with business leaders to translate goals into winning and impactful marketing campaigns

  • Exceptionally creative, with a portfolio of beautiful design work

  • Inspiring, open minded, hard-working, collaborative, and passionate

Key Responsibilities: * Provide leadership and oversight for Glassdoor's self-service sales team, guiding and encouraging teams to adapt, improve, and achieve * Maintain, evaluate, and hold the team accountable to key performance metrics; provide VP and senior leadership accurate summaries and analysis of activity, results and forecasts * Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Engineering and Operations to develop new processes, ensuring success for your team * Provide strategic guidance, insight and knowledge about market trends, customer attitudes, and effectiveness of sales strategies * Foster continuous improvement; ensure that all sales activities and processes are efficient, effective and scalable * Ensure that business conducted within the sales organization is of the highest ethical and professional standards * Ensure that recruitment and hiring plans are forward-thinking and strategic, and serve to further the capabilities, diversity and impact of the sales teams * Coach leaders and managers to their strengths and helps them develop strong foundational and advanced leadership skill Qualifications: * 1+ years of experience working in a self-service or rep-assisted sales model * 3+ years experience building, developing and managing sales teams, including 3+ years experience leading through others; directing and coaching front-line managers or team leads * Previous experience scaling a sales organization, building structures and systems to operationalize and create efficiencies * Prior track record of successfully engaging and motivating highly productive sales teams * Demonstrated success in identifying and growing sales talent; proven ability to cultivate and develop high performing sales teams * Strong command of business process; adept at viewing things holistically as well as digging into the details * Exceptional skill in verbal and written communications; must also be an excellent listener * Proven ability to successfully articulate and address complex business issues and opportunities * Skilled at promoting collaboration and driving problem resolution across all levels of a business including the c-suite * Experiences successfully building and executing on systems and processes to scale * Bachelor's Degree required * Travel (up to 10%) required Why Glassdoor? * Work with purpose – join us in creating transparency for job seekers everywhere * Glassdoor gives back!
