Position Summary:

The Creative Director will be responsible for conception and design of integrated advertising campaigns, managing the creative process and ensuring all work is strategically and creatively on point. Provides overall creative leadership, represents the agency creatively and ensures all projects are completed on time and within budget.



  • Develops creative, strategic ideas that solve specific client marketing challenges.
  • Manages, leads, supports, and inspires the creative team.
  • Allocate appropriate personnel for all creative assignments full-time employees and freelancers
  • Works with Chief Creative Officer and brand teams to ensure art aligns with client strategy.
  • Maintains budget, manages hours, and works with Project Management on resource allocation.
  • Develops creative, strategic ideas that solve specific client marketing challenges.
  • Ensures on-brand design and accurate content that aligns with the overall strategy.
  • Ensures all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Monitors overall quality of agency creative output and provides direction and leadership.
  • Fosters positive relationships between creative and other agency functional areas. Encourages strong collaborative relationships with account management and other areas.
  • Will execute initial concepts through to final completion.
  • Drives team to meet deadlines and work within timelines of the art team, and ensure team stays within client budget and hours.
  • Defines the project strategy and translates the strategy to the development of creative concepts.
  • Leads and manages the day to day client relationships, budget, schedules and project deliverables.
  • Leads creative in client meetings as requested.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in advertising, marketing, graphic arts or equivalent area of study.
  • Minimum 10 years creative/creative management experience.
  • Pharmaceutical and/or medical device experience required.
  • Strong customer service skills with a commitment to superior quality.
  • Must be self-motivated, professional, detail oriented, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding creative presentation skills.
  • Comfortable working under pressure within tight deadlines
  • Advanced PC or Mac experience with all Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite

About You The Art Director will be responsible for translating the client's strategy, goals, and vision into online marketing assets. You will assist the Creative Director in overseeing creative projects, including execution and planning, guiding the supporting teams. You are an ace at managing multiple projects and competing initiatives without letting anything slip. You are passionate about design and performance marketing and your work is always top-notch! You'll be responsible for: * Creating original concepts informed by research and data with clear, concise design that is both visually interesting, on brand, and focused on performance marketing * Integrating designs in a range of visual styles with brand and aesthetic cues while pushing the creativity of the work and evolving style standards * Applying new user experience and design fundamentals into brand development * Following best practices for quality user experience design from ideation, user flow and wireframes to final visual design and implementation * Leading brainstorming sessions both internally and with client * Giving art direction, helping train, mentor and inspire junior creative team members * Incorporating ideas and making revisions in response to the feedback and criticisms of clients and team members in a business-like, open-minded and collaborative manner * Maintaining ownership for project through final execution, including QA and reviewing and signing off on all revisions and production phases to ensure that selling message is clear You'll need to have: * Design or Interactive Media related degree or equivalent experience * 5-7 years' experience as a visual designer producing for advertising and digital marketing * Amazing portfolio showcasing branding, storytelling, video, web, banners, email, social, etc. * Understanding of HTML development and testing, CSS * Ability to co-manage multiple clients, account teams, and varied projects, tight deadlines and high volume of work * Proven ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail * Deep understanding and enthusiasm for advertising, web technologies, emerging design trends and innovations * Strong verbal communication skills as a presenter and meeting facilitator in both individual and group settings, internally and with the client * Strong written communication skills developing decks and various communication vehicles with other stakeholders that address client's strategy and tactical concerns * A fundamental understanding of market research and marketing to develop marketing-driven solutions for our clients * Willingness to to adapt to 3Q creative team's communication and project management tools Additional things that will impress us: * Experience in a performance marketing agency a plus (not required) * Experience in mentoring junior team members, and providing art direction to production artists, vendors and freelancers * Proficiency in the following programs: * Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects) * Sketch and Invision * Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, Docs) * Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) About Us Best in-class digital marketing results require the best-in-class workforce and our best-in-class workforce ultimately drives the culture at 3Q Digital.
