Job Summary
The creative coordinator creates and implements fashion student recruitment and retention activities and events. This position also provides creative and administrative assistance for various growth initiatives and oversight and maintenance of departmental needs.
Essential Job Functions and Performance Indicators

Job Responsibilities and Execution
Creates, coordinates, and executes student recruitment and retention activities and events
Instructs and coordinates students' involvement with the atelier and The Fashion Society student organization
Works on program growth initiatives such as study abroad, scholarships, advisory council, alumni showcase, the historic costume collection, and the International Festival Fashion Show
Oversees and maintains needs associated with facilities, equipment, technologies, and office supplies and displays
Produces and formats promotional materials and documents, including creating, editing, proofreading, and aggregating data
Compiles information and organizes it into relevant reports
Maintains filing systems and utilizes basic word processing, database, and spreadsheet skills
Maintains appropriate supply inventory for the office
Service Excellence
Assists with and coordinates departmental meetings and activities
Assists with planning and execution of department events
Supports the mission of the university and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence
Models, supports, and holds others accountable to the university's values - integrity, dedication, excellence, creativity, and teamwork
Communication, Teamwork, and Collaboration
Coordinates and maintains annual program events calendar and fashion show guidelines
Acts as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies, including high-level staff
Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects
Seeks out potential constituents to aid in fundraising
Prioritizes a large volume of phone and email correspondence and confirms appointments
Handles confidential and non-routine information and explains policies when necessary
Collects, organizes, and composes correspondence for departmental faculty, staff, and students
Job may require other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in fashion business or design
Prior relevant work experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Highly organized, motivated, and able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously

Experience with general office hardware and computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud
