Creative Content & Copy Writer - Opry Entertainment Group

The Creative Content Copywriter plays a crucial role in activating our brands for an omnichannel experience. This position will create and grow content and copy for a variety of channels for our brands through audience-centric communications from digital to print to in-venue experiences. This role works closely with the Creative Director, creative team, and marketing team to execute content and copy across platforms. The perfect candidate is someone who loves to dig into writing, copy, and messaging -- no matter the project -- with a passion for engaging storytelling. Reports to Director of Content & Creative.

• Create best-in-class content and copy across channel platforms from long-form articles and listicles to email, web, social, and digital ad copy to print collateral to scripting stage, radio, and video copy.

• Pro at efficient research, writing, and editing.

• Adept at changing copy to write in voice/tone for multiple brands.

• Ideate content ideas through a deep understanding of our brands and industry.

• Work closely with Director of Content & Creative to implement content strategies across platforms and inter departmental teams.

• Participate in creative brainstorms and concepting for brand activations and campaigns.

• Juggle multiple priorities and assignments, and work with team to prioritize.

• Assign content articles to support team and freelancers.

• Work with creative team to gather creative assets for content pieces.

• Create and build strong relationships with partners and artists to connect ideas and stories around brands and artists.

• Work within content management systems to build content article pages that convert readers into engaging customers with a mind for data, user engagement, and SEO.

• Attend shows and events to cover and capture content as needed.

• Utilize data to make strategic audience engagement and content decisions and measure effectiveness.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
