JOB SCOPE/OBJECTIVES:

This is a 3rd shift position working Monday through Friday from 11:00pm to 7:00am, with overtime as needed. Starting pay $23.35 per hour plus $.35 per hour shift differential.

Person is responsible for the smooth and efficient blending of all COW batches.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complies with all applicable standards such as USDA, FDA, relevant CFRs, GFSI, and other applicable customer requirements. Adheres to HACCP, Allergen Control Program, GMPs, product specifications, and other QA plans and required process control procedures to ensure processes, work in progress, raw materials and finished goods meet the specified quality and standards.

Responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and documenting the site's CCPs according to the HACCP Plan. Ability to run computerized COW cooking system in such a manner as to produce COW in terms of quality, quantity, machinability, etc. Assist in coordination and cooperation with COW operators to ensure an effective and smooth operation.

Conduct necessary lab tests on COW products as directed. Keep area in a neat and orderly condition at all times. Clean and Sanitize area after every run.

This entails breaking down and cleaning all equipment and re-assembly. Responsible for weighing COW waste after each run. Follow policies and procedures, as they are made known. All other duties as assigned.

IDEAL CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONS:

Must be able to learn the total blending operation and machine functions. Must be accurate in weights and contents and keep accurate records.

The candidate should have the ability to interact with co-workers and establish a good working relationship with peers and supervision. Must have the ability go up and down stairs multiple times during the shift.
