Crane Field Service Technician

Bemana is looking for a Crane Field Service Technician in Florida to join the team of a longstanding, stable company with a sustained growth trajectory. 

Responsibilities

• Work outdoors on heavy lift equipment: gantry cranes, railjacks, forklifts, welders, service trucks and other heavy lift material handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment – electrical, hydraulic, diesel and mechanical.
• Provide training and technical knowledge on full range of equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment.
• Support customers by effectively interfacing with customer and internally as needed.
• Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs.
• Provide clear work order documentation and reports when needed.
• Ensure compliance in all safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies and procedures for a goal of zero incidents and injuries.
• Assist in delivering required training to coworkers.

Qualifications

• High School graduate, or equivalent, plus minimum 4+ years of experience in the service and repair of industrial equipment.

• Expert knowledge of hydraulics, electrical and mechanical systems.

• Field related certificates and endorsements are positively reviewed.

• Capable of reading variable schematic logic for both low/high voltage electrical and a variety of hydraulics

• Travel of 50%+ required.
