Craft Beer Delivery Driver (Non-Cdl) - Columbus, OH

As Ohio's premiere craft beer distributor, we are seeking an aggressive, passionate, self-starting individual, who has what it takes to join our winning team. We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. Our drivers deliver kegs and cases of craft beer to bars, restaurants and stores in the area. Our delivery drivers typically work Tuesday through Friday. $1,500 in signing bonuses are available. $250 after 30 days on the job, $500 after 90 days, and $750 after 180 days. Earn up to an additional $4/hour Driver Safety Bonus paid out quarterly for meeting company performance standards.

Principle Responsibilities:

• Safely & courteously deliver and satisfy the needs of our customers

• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues

• Follow all Cavalier's Operational Procedures.

• Accurately follow paperwork procedures and execute cash management duties

• Protect the company's assets by maintaining organized, safe, and clean vehicles, always complying with the company's safety and security standards

• Adhere to all safety requirements particular to the equipment, including DOT safety regulations

• Immediately report accident, equipment malfunction and DMV or Traffic Violations

• Ensure cargo is secured properly and compliant with safety requirements

• Maintain truck and related equipment in clean good working condition

• Control, protect, maintain trucks inventory and equipment

• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions

• Assist in loading and unloading truck

• Perform any other duties as assigned by Manager

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Basic understanding of Cavalier Distributing products. (Become a craft beer expert!)

• Ability to communicate effectively.

• Ability to speak and write the English language at least at the high school level is required.

• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving.

• Ability to add and subtract, using whole numbers and decimals.

• Excellent customer relation skills.

• Ability to work independently.

• Ability to process information/merchandise.

• Ability to communicate with supervisor, Company Sales Representatives, current and prospective customers on a professional level.

• Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation.

• Must have a valid unexpired driver's license with a clean MVR record.

• Ability to read maps/directions and operate GPS units.
