Our CQI Auditor serves as leader, mentor and role model. Assists the Health Services Administrator in coordinating the delivery of contract services and ensure the site is in compliance with all aspects of the client contract.
Responsible for auditing, documenting, reporting and communicating site compliance with the CCS CQI program requirements, CCS Policies and Procedures (both administrative and clinical) and legal requirements, regulations set forth by BHCS. Collaborates with staff to develop, implement and communicate a quality plan to bring site policies and procedures into compliance with the quality requirements. Grievances are an integral part of CQI. All staff medical grievances will be completed, analyzed and documented monthly.
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
Baccalaureate degree preferred
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the State
Current CPR Certification
Responsibilities Establishes and maintains the site Continuous Quality Improvement Program Reviews medical records to ensure nursing practice provided is within boundaries of State guidelines and CCS policy Identifies potential problems, establishes priorities, initiates effective problem solving based on clinical knowledge and informs H S A of proposed corrective actions This Nurse develops and executes plans for employee development to improve patient, employee satisfaction, quality of care and cost effectiveness Conducts all Level 1 medical grievances Coordinates the collection of monthly quality improvement screens Submits weekly and monthly reports of audits conducted Chairs the CQI committee Ensures that the CQI minutes reflect implementation of improvements Coordinates and develops site specific CQI initiatives Reviews medication errors and submits findings to the HSA and DON Prepares and submits requested reports to HSA in a timely manner Assesses established policies and procedures with re-review as needed Communicates information to other nursing staff, physician, health care unit supervisory personnel and other staff as necessary Respects dignity and confidentiality of patients Attends mandatory staff meetings and training Responds to grievances as requested by the Health Services Administrator Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance. Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.
Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations. Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details. Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis.
Post orders, if applicable, per site contract. Perform other duties as assigned.
