CPU Emulation Lead, Silicon

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 8 years of experience with industry-standard emulation tools and techniques.

• Experience with an industry available emulator (e.g., Cadence Palladium, Mentor Veloce, Synopsys EVE), or FPGA rapid prototyping platforms.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, with an emphasis on computer architecture.

• Experience in design verification languages and methodologies.

• Knowledge of CPU microarchitectures.

• Knowledge of library cells and optimizations from ARM, TSMC, and other technology library vendors.

• Understanding of industry FPGA and Emulation platforms.

As a Hardware Engineer, you design and build the systems that are the heart of the world's largest and most powerful computing infrastructure. You develop from the lowest levels of circuit design to large system design and see those systems all the way through to high volume manufacturing. With your technical expertise, you lead projects in multiple areas of expertise (i.e., engineering domains or systems) within a data center facility, including construction and equipment installation/troubleshooting/debugging with vendors.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $177,000-$266,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Deliver emulation models from RTL using industry standard emulation technology.

• Debug test failures, synthesize test bench and verification collaterals.

• Engage with partners to drive continuous improvement to the design and verification plans/collateral.

• Develop emulation compile, runtime, and regression flows.

• Improve overall efficiency and utilization of emulator resources.
