DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS:

This is an Infrastructure Architect role with responsibility for complex Commercial Products Supply (CPS) IT infrastructure environments - primarily focused on Internet of Things (IOT) and plant automation integration in our IT environment with strong data management, engineering and security knowledge and a good level of understanding of network, servers & storage technologies. This leader of self will be a key person to support the establishment of the IOT/Industry 4.0 technical strategy, Security, architecture and execution plans for CPS facilities globally (in collaboration with the IT stakeholders, E&S and vendors). The role will be key participant of the CPS IT technology review board to review IT solution to support plant/Business requirements. The position could be required to work in shift to support the local plant activity on limited period of time for business continuity reason.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Architecture

  • Provide technical input to the CPS IT technology roadmap

  • Support the CPS IOT/Industry 4.0 strategy across Shop floor network, DMZ/industrial control systems firewall and CPS enterprise Network.

  • Define and document our CPS architecture and standards for CPS IT/OT infrastructure.

  • Define, track and review metrics related to the implementation, performance, stability, and life-cycle management of CPS IT infrastructure hardware and software.

  • Guide internal and external service providers to review and improve technologies, processes and procedures related to the support of CPS IT & OT infrastructure (office and plant).

  • Coordinates with colleagues in other technical disciplines to ensure that the entire production landscape is optimally supported and managed from an IT infrastructure point of view.

  • Define CPS Data archiving approach, routines and technology aligned with company rules, to optimize production storage usage

  • Define CPS backup approach, routines and technology meeting company and business requirement

  • Partners, vendors, consumers and other third parties

RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 5 years experience within a multi-national environment supporting IOT / industry 4.0 company strategy, managing third-party vendors

  • Ability to understand the overall architecture of a solution

  • Practical knowledge and skills of

  • IOT & Industry 4.0 with strong data management, engineering and security knowledge

  • Storage infrastructure on Wintel/Linux platforms

  • SAN storage arrays (EMC, NetApp and others)

  • Data and voice network technologies

  • DRP approach with above technologies

  • Backup technologies

  • Vendor management

  • Experience with PTC Thingworx, and/or SAP Leonardo would be desirable

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including customer / client communication skills

  • Proven ability to analyze infrastructure, troubleshoot problems, provide recommendations and follow up on their implementation

  • Strong global and cross-functional project management expertise with the ability to manage deliverables and action items with teams in different countries, with different cultures

  • Experienced in change management and operational excellence.

  • Knowledge of CPS business processes and Business Process Management desirable

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, Industry 4.0 or a related study (or equivalent project-related experience).

  • Project Management Certification desirable

  • ITIL Foundation certification desirable

  • Operational Excellence Certification desirable

  • Cisco CCNP or CCIE desirable

  • Lenovo or HP Certified Storage Specialist desirable

  • EMC proven Professional certification desirable

  • Fluency in English is required.
