CPA Firm Income Tax Manager

Job Description Job Description Dallas CPA firm is looking for a Tax Manager for the office location in Dallas. Minimum 5-10 years of recent CPA firm experience required.

Some of the duties of this job position will include: Review (maybe some preparation) of personal, corporate, partnership and trust income tax returns of varying complexities. Review tax information provided by client for completeness.

Review adjustments and reconciliations to client provided general ledger for use in the tax return preparation process. Prepare and/or review amended returns of various complexities. Responds to tax notices; preparation of correspondence.

Performs tax research projects. Work with/manage staff to assist in the preparation of tax returns/projections. Answer accounting and tax questions by researching and interpreting data.

Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Protect client relationships by keeping information confidential. CPA certificate is required Recent CPA firm experience required Preparation of client billing.

Various administrative responsibilities related to management of staff. Must have ability to effectively communicate and interact with clients and staff. We are looking for someone with recent public accounting experience.

Individual needs to be self-reliant with little or no training necessary. Ability to prioritize projects, manage workload effectively and efficiently. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
