The World Headquarters for the Dallas Cowboys, the Star is the most comprehensive NFL training facility in the country. In addition to serving as the home of the entire football operation and practice fields, The Ford Center at The Star also includes a multipurpose, 12,000 seat, indoor stadium that will provide facilities for use by the Dallas Cowboys, City of Frisco and Frisco ISD football and soccer games. The facility includes Cowboys Club: a workspace and membership club connecting work, leisure and culture for a select community of influencers, entrepreneurs, and business leaders with a passion for the Dallas Cowboys.
The Barista is based out of The Star/Cowboys Club in Frisco, TX and reports to the Beverage Manager.
Essential Job Functions
Follows all Company drink recipes and procedures to provide high quality and consistent beverages to guest
Ensures that all customers are educated on our products and services.
Answers customer questions regarding coffee blends, preparation, and product freshness.
Greets all customers with fast, friendly, personalized service
Accurately rings sales orders into POS system and counts back change to customers in a courteous and friendly manner
Develops an understanding of coffee and tea regions and the various differences in flavor and blends.
Sells and serves baked goods and miscellaneous food items to customers
Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and product as needed

Required Qualifications:
Must be able to stand for an extended period of time without aid
Must be fluent in English
Menu planning and development
Must be able to stand or walk for varying length of time
Must be available to work an irregular schedule
Must be able to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
Must have at least 1 year experience in a high volume bar.
Must be able read, write, and speak in English.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, sit, use of hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms
Ability to lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds;
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision
