THE OPPORTUNITY

This fall, COVERGIRL is coming to Times Square as the first mass legacy beauty brand to launch a flagship store in North America. Our experiential beauty playroom will open its doors to the 26 million New Yorkers and tourists who pass through Times Square each year.

We are on the hunt for a Retail Operations Coordinator who possess exceptional analytical and organizational skills and who will be a liaison between the Corporate Offices and the Store Teams for operational aspects such as sales reporting, replenishment orders, inventory management and overall store maintenance.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • General

  • Upkeep of retail vendor list

  • Place weekly store supply orders

  • Resolving store needs within predetermined guidelines, based on severity of issues

  • Inventory Management

  • Update and track all inventory; improve inventory management systems

  • Data entry on SAP and inventory adjustments, negative inventory corrections and cycle counts

  • Responsible for Replenishment orders: from entry to receiving at the store

  • Supervise physical counts and Complete physical inventory variance reports

  • Support accurate forecast based on sales data and other variables

  • Reporting and financial support

  • Prepare weekly sales reports and tracking of critical KPIS

  • Track and code retail department invoices

  • Create tools to manage store operational expenses and timely payments

  • Maintain and update weekly, monthly and quarterly store forms including cash handling policy

  • Work with finance department to reconcile deposit and petty cash logs

  • Repair and Maintenance issues

  • Review repair requests initiated by Store personnel and determine disposition (approve, reject, postpone)

  • As needed contacts requestor and/or makes site visit

  • Mentor Store management to ensure adequate troubleshooting performed to justify/substantiate commitment of maintenance resources

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Undergraduate degree

  • Minimum 2 years of operations experience as front-line leader required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Basic knowledge of SAP and strong analytical skills

  • Ability to positively and proactively handle guest concerns and prioritize multiple tasks

  • Hands-on, initiator, and hard worker

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team

  • High performer, driven through self-motivation

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and policies, practices and procedures. * Manage and execute daily Arcade Operations to achieve financial results in accordance with the annual departmental budget, including training of staff. * Collaborate and assist MGM Corporate in conjunction with Circus Circus & Excalibur in the selection of the prize inventory for use in operations and maintain appropriate inventory levels. * Evaluate daily, weekly, monthly revenue reports to ensure the daily schedule is set to the optimum performance level. * Awareness of amusement industry new games and products and offerings. * Responsible for operations and oversight of the department Sacoa debit card operating system. * Oversee proper controls over cash handling and prize inventory and ensure inventory stock and displays are maintained. * Monitor arcade area for irregular conduct by Arcade Attendants or guests. * Arcade game placement and room design and guest flow. * Oversee and resolve customer complaints. * Create and maintain a work environment that promotes client service, teamwork, performance feedback, individual recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction ensuring quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompass the company's diversity commitment. * Perform all other job related duties as requested. Required: * Associate Degree or equivalent education and experience. * At least 4 years of experience in an Arcade Environment. * At least 2 years of Supervisory Experience. * Excellent customer skills. * Able to lead and mentor a team. * Have interpersonal skill to deal effectively with all business contacts. * Professional appearance and demeanor. * Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. * High school diploma or equivalent. * General knowledge of Microsoft Office software. * Able to effectively communicate in English, in both in written and oral form.
