What You Will Do:
Performs a variety of courier duties as assigned by management.
Ensures that safety practices and procedures are followed when operating the Medical Center vehicle including the proper use of seat belts.
Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicle by vacuuming, cleaning windows, and cleaning the inside to keep a professional image for the Medical Center. Routinely maintains daily, monthly and yearly logs on vehicle including pre‑inspection, maintenance, gasoline, passenger logs, licensed plates and insurance policies.
Complete assigned stops in a timely manner.
Reports changes that will prevent assigned tasks from being completed in a timely manner.
Maintains a professional image by projecting a positive attitude with staff and guests, and follows career apparel standards.
Follows government and Firelands' policies in handling charts, blood and body fluids and patient information.
Carries a valid Ohio Driver's License and/or Ohio Chauffeur's License while on duty.
What You Will Need:
High School education.
Must possess a valid State of Ohio motor vehicle operator's license and be insurable under Firelands' auto policy. Employee must provide proof of personal automobile liability insurance coverage upon request.
Ability to lift 50 pounds a be mobile.
Ability to maintain and project a positive impression of the Medical Center at all times.
Punctual attendance at assigned work location is required.
Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner and maintain an accident free work place, including ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of Medical Center emergency codes.
Successful completion of a ninety (90) day probationary period.
